Eagle Scout Gifts
You may be wondering what are appropriate Eagle Scout gifts if you've recently been invited to a Court of Honor ceremony. While it is usually not necessary to give a gift, a card to commemorate the special occasion is certainly a must. However, if you are looking for a unique gift for the young man, finding something with an Eagle theme will work.
The journey to Eagle Scout is a long and challenging one, both for the young man as well as his parents. I have found a beautiful framed picture of an eagle with a touching poem -- "The Uniformed Little Boy" -- that's sure to bring tears of joy and would be a meaningful gift both for the Scout and his parents. You can order the print framed or unframed at a very reasonable price. And right now when you order one framed or unframed print you get a second unframed print for free. And that works great for me, since I will be attending a ceremony for twins in about a month! If you don't need gifts for twins, maybe you can give the second print to the parents. You can view the print

Other Ideas for Gifts for New Eagle Scouts
You can always venture to your local Scouting store where I'm sure you will find gifts suitable for the new Eagle Scout. They have Eagle Scout scrapbook albums and paper, eagle statues, and frames. Another thought I had, in keeping with the eagle theme (and appropriate considering the current state of our economy) are Silver Eagle Dollars. I'm sure money would be a welcome gift, but the silver dollar adds a unique twist! You can buy them at your local coin dealer, and probably get one with the year to commemorate their achievement.

Or how about a light-hearted look at Scouting through the cartoons of Rich Diessling? Here are a few to choose from. Enjoy!
